Catral is a small Spanish town near the mountains which has plenty of facilities. It is in a great location, 25 Kilometres from Alicante Airport and 35 Kilometres from Murcia Airport. The coast is only 10 Kilometres away. Guardamar is the nearest beach and is one of the best in this area.

There are plenty of coffee bars, shops and supermarkets in Catral, with its own Sports centre and Gym. There are plenty of English speaking Doctors and Dentists, and even a very good Fish and Chip Bar for those who dont want to try the many Spanish eating places.

There is also a Municipal Swimming Pool area, an Internet Cafe, and Taxis for those late nights to get back to your place of stay.

The Catholic Church is beautiful and well worth a visit situated in a lovely Square which comes alive in the evenings.

There are also a number of Nature Parks with local wildlife, salt lakes, and local Train stations close by.
