Catral is a farming community in the Vega Baja area of the Costa Blanca, with a total population of around 7000.

Catral is not far from Torrevieja, which boasts it’s famous salt lakes. The wild life and famous wild Pink Flamingoes are a fantastic spectacle.

With it’s many rural trails , this is a very popular area for walkers and hikers of all levels of experience.

Catral is also on the border of the El Honda nature reserve.

Catral town has a relatively busy town centre with many shops and local bus links.

Despite being more inland the nearest beach is only 10km away. Catral is ideally situated for access by both Alicante (30km away) airport and Murcia (50km away) which are served by many budget airlines.
